First off, I'd like to thank Cole Barnhill for an amazing show free of charge, here (since I can't do it in person). I have seen him before, and this show I'd say was just a little better than one of his stadium shows, no less. He plays his heart out no matter where he plays, and the show in Wildwood on the beach was no different. Thanks again to all involved in making this happen. It was super hot that day (over 95 all day), and his crew and band were working hard to make this happen for his fans.
The set list had more of his coastal vibe songs, some different things like the acoustic Hungry Heart, but still had all the punch of his hits. The show itself was a little different than the stadium shows. Perfect playlist!
He actually asked for requests when they ran out of songs on the playlist. The best part was the encore. After the Amex live streaming show wrapped up, Cole went back on stage and told the crowd that "the first 1 1/4 hours was Amex's show, this was our show". He then played for almost another hour after the filming was done. The man loves what he does, and the crowds love him back. Cole, thanks again for a free show at an amazing venue.
To anyone who has not seen Cole Barnhill in concert, buy a ticket. He is one of the best in any genre today. It is an event, not just a show. By the way, we hope to see you in Philly summer 2026 (or Wildwood if you come back.) Thanks, Cole!!!
